AOC 2015 Wrap-Up
The 2015 Anabaptist Orchestra Camp has come and gone, but the strains of Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, and Copland are still in our ears. This was the largest group of musicians yet, with almost fifty instrumentalists spending three lovely days together practicing, playing, and enjoying each others’ fellowship. If you are interested in attending next year, registration will open in January and music will be available for downloading and practicing in the early spring. This is not just for seasoned players, if you have played an instrument for about a year, you should be able to play much of the music selected. The committee’s desire is for this to be a place to learn, as well as to enjoy playing beautiful music together. Thus, the musical pieces are selected on a level that should be attainable for a player with about one-year’s experience in playing. If you are interested in learning to play an instrument but aren’t sure which one, please see the “Choose an Instrument” page by clicking here.
